Cake
Size and Servings
A lot of time, love and quality ingredients make up a
Jake’s Cake custom cake. Many hours are spent planning, baking, filling and
decorating your cake to a high standard.
This is a rough guideline as to how many
servings you could get out of your cake, please take note that my cakes are
taller than ‘standard’ being about 5
inches or 11/12 cm tall so in some cases you may be able to get more servings
out if your cake than stated here. On the flipside if you are partial to larger
portions of cake you will get less slices of cake than stated.

For
Wedding coffee portions generally served after dessert, standard portions are 1
inch (2.5 cm) x 1 inch (2.5

you need to discuss anything different to the above, please contact me.
There
is considerably more work in a 3d/handcarved cake not just in the actual making/baking
and decorating of the cake but in the preparation and planning too, as
depending on the design I will make up templates/research design and plan how
to construct the cake. As a result these are more expensive than standard round
or square cakes due to the extra labour and materials required and start from
$300.00 for smaller simple designs.
